We are now offering what is called the

towards setting your goal towards II DAN Black Belt. The
intentions are to train the student more widely in the 'extra' facets of
the martial arts. Members of this elite club will be allowed to
wear a special 'Master Club' uniform top
and also be learning multiple weapons and also be involved in more
complex, 'street-smart' defense scenarios. |

Women's Safe Day

The day will consist of a basic self-defense class, free of charge to
any adult female, member or not. The date will be announced soon.
Pass it on to your fellow ladies! |
We are also offering what is called a
Leadership Club available to current
members who have completed levels one and two with at least a score of
80% or higher on the total average of their exams. The students
who qualify for this program must commit their goal to III Dan Black or
beyond, and must qualify under other pre-requisites. The
qualifying members will also be allowed to wear a special 'Leadership
Club' uniform top. This program is structured more for the
individuals who wish to become a staff member or an instructor at Kang's

Respect
for Tradition
All people must take their shoes
off past the lobby area. The Dojang is an extension of the Kang's
Home and will therefore, be treated as a Korean Family's House.
Our classroom mat is lined with a special mat that requires special
care. Please treat your dojang with the same love as you would to
your home, or a friend or relative's home.
Make sure your phone is
silenced. We are trying to create a
positive learning environment, so keep library-like conditions during
quiet times in the
seating area. |
|
Lost and
Forgotten
Week after week, we accumulate personal items
left behind in the locker rooms, by the shoe rack, and so on. We
have a lost and found locker in the first locker of both the men's and
women's locker rooms, so please go there first!
If after a week of not being claimed, we
re-direct these items into the trash, so please be aware of your own,
and your children's belongings! |
