Grand Master Kang's Service 1

Grandmaster D. W. Kang is a man of vision with the ability and the resources to make his dreams into realities. He has lived the "American Dream". Grandmaster Kang has 45 years experience in Tae-Kwon-Do. He is Oklahoma's highest 9th degree Black Belt.

He started the first Tae-Kwon-Do school in Tulsa in 1972. He was editor and publisher of the first Tae-Kwon-Do magazine, Traditional Tae-Kwon-Do, in the United States.

He was the founder of competitive Tae-Kwon-Do in Oklahoma. He has been in charge of competition for the USTU and brought the Nationals to Tulsa. He has produced thousands of State and National Champions, more than any other Master in Oklahoma. His students include a kickboxing World Champion and many of the Masters and Instructors in this region. He is the only Master in this five state region to produce an Olympic Medallist in Tae-Kwon-Do.
